Ronaldinho Gaucho, Alexandre Pato, Andre Santos, Paulo Henrique Ganso, Adriano, Neymar were the players that didn't got a chance to go. Ronaldinho and Gaunso should have been called to represent the Brazil team. The Brazilian nation can't believe that Gilberto, Josué, Kleberson, and Julio Batista went to the World Cup. Chapel boy’s volleyball won their first match at Big 4 against EAB by 3 to 0 and showed their powerful team. In their second game, Chapel played bad and lost in a closed game with Graded by 2 to 1. In their last key game, they lost to EARJ by 2 to 1, making EARJ loose their first set on Big 4. Classifying in 3rd place, Chapel met Graded on the semi-final and with an outstanding volleyball, they beat Graded by 3 to 0. In the final, Chapel boys tried hard, however they lost their setter because of a team problem. Without stopping EARJ strikers, don’t making right passes and playing bad, Chapel lost the final. Vicente Molinos gave an interview to Sport News

Q. Vicente, two years ago you lost all games and sets, last year you lost all the games and just won 1 set. This year you got to the final with an excellent team. What were the team modifications?

V: Well first of all, we had a new coach, Mrs. Fernanda Bastos which played Volleyball in college against outstanding teams and she has impressive and outstanding drills. From our first practice onwards, our team every practice got better. She is a mad coach and if we did wrong stuff we would run and hear a lot. She made our team have discipline and show our volleyball. It was an honor to play with here because she is a terrific coach and we had so much fun with her in practice.

Q: Was the semi-final the Best game you ever played?

V: Without any doubt it was one of the most important games I have every played. I ask coach Fernanda Bastos to block Graded number 12 and she gave me confidence and with a small trick, she put me to block him. The result was spectacular and we stopped him. With lot of enthusiasm and playing well, I helped Chapel reach the final.

Q. What happened on the final that you didn’t had the enthusiasm you had on the final?

V: On the semi-final it was much easier since I got spike a lot the ball and block a lot also and with this I grew on the game. We had a game plan on the final to put the ball to the wings since the block on the middle was good. I tried to call some ball from the setter; however he preferred to send the ball to the wings. I ask sorry for my teammates; however I need this little help to have the enthusiasm I had on the other matches. Not participating a lot in the offensive plays let me down a little bit.

Q: Serving is since the first year a strength you have, however this year you improved a lot. What helped you?

V: Well, first of all I improved due to Mrs. Bastos drills. Every practice we have serving drills and if we missed a serve, we had o serve again. We had cones that we had to aim and on the game, Coach Marcello also helped me by saying in which position was better to serve. In the final I did 2 aces and scored 6 points in a row and it was quite impressive.

Q: What are your expectations for next year?
Next year will be my last year playing for Chapel since I’m a senior and I already ask the captain armband to Mrs.Bastos. We will have a great loss with 5 starters: Pietro, Giga, Marcello, Mark, and Felipe, leaving the team, however I think that our new players will help us have a competitive team for next year. The other teams are also losing key players and this is something than is unstoppable. If we practice as we did this year and take serious, I believe that I will be able to realize my promise. I promised coach Bastos that next year I will lift up the trophy and ill bet you that if we a competitive team, we will be CHAMPIONS!

Inter de Milan: Italy Cup CHAMPIONS!

After 4 years without winning the Italian Cup, Inter de Milan won the Italian Cup. The game was against Roma, on the Olímpico stadium (Roma stadium), and the team from Milan won by 1 to 0 Roma. Diego Milito scored, making the biggest champion of the competition, Roma with 9 titles lose. Both teams are fighting also for the Italian Championship; however Inter de Milan is again winning with 76 points against 74 points Roma has.

Shakhtar Donetsk Champions of the Ukraine Championship

Shakhtar Donetsk is the Champions of the Ukraine Championship for the fifth time. With a goal scored by the Brazilian Ilsinho at 15 minutes of the 1st half, the team won Dínamo de Kiev by 1 to 0. Shakhtar Donetsk reached 74 points, being unreachable by any other team. Shakhtar Donetsk team completed 16 games without losing and were champions with 23 victories, 5 ties and just 1 lost match. The team scored 59 goals and suffered 16. With an impressive Championship statistics, Donetsk teams deserved and are the CHAMPIONS of the 2010 season!

Trabzonspor: Turkey Cup Champions!

Fenerbaçhe lost the Turkey Cup Championship playing against Trabzonspor. Fenerbaçhe was winning 1 to 0, with a goal scored by Alex; however Trabzonspor crowd cheered a lot and Umut Bulut, Engin, and Colman scored. Fenerbaçhe is the most know team in Turkey and the one who has the best players in Turkey; however they could not win the match. They had everything to win, but Trabzonspor presented a terrific soccer and were the champions.

Olympique Champions!

Olympique are the CHAMPIONS of the French Championship! After 18 years Olympique won the Tournament 3 rounds earlier. The team won the game against Rennes by 3 to 1 scoring 75 points. The second place team, Auxerre lost and just can score73 points. Olympique did a terrific job and deserved to win the Tournament. Lyon has won the last 7 years and Olympique could stop them to reach 8 in a role.

Santos Champions

Santos conquer the Paulista Tournament! They won the match by 3 to 2, however they lost the second match by 3 to 2 to Santo André. The game tied 6 to 6, however Santos had the tied advantage and were champions. In the second game, Santos had 3 players expelled from the game and Santo Andre had 1 player. Santo Andre had a goal that was cancelled because it was offside, however it wasn't. It was a terrific match and had lots of emotion.

Ronney Injured

One of the best football strikers on the world, Wayne Ronney is injured. With a groin injury, Ronney didn’t played against Tottenham, which his team won by 3 to 1 with 2 goal of Giggs and the other one Nani scored. Ronney has been Manchester man goal and he will not be playing in the last 2 games of the Barclays Premier League. Ronney also has chances of not playing the World Cup at Africa and if he comes back to play soccer; he will only play during the World Cup. Good Luck Ronney. UEFA Champions League first semi-final round

Barcelona was defeated by 3 to 1 from Inter de Milan. Barcelona started winning the game scoring a goal with Pedro. However, Inter game back and won the game with Sneijder, Maicon, and Milito scoring. Inter de Milan defeated the unbeatable Barcelona and opens a two goal difference to the last semi-final game against Barcelona at Camp Nou. Check the goals in the link below:



On the Other semi-final:

On the other semi-final, Robben scored a beautiful goal making Bayern de Munich defeat Lyon by 1 to 0. Ribery was expelled from the game in the first half and after two fouls in less than ten minutes, Lyon defensive player, Toulalan, was also expelled from the game. Stendardo don't forgive Luca Toni

The defensive player for Lazio, Stendardo had to do a surgery to fix his nose. Roma Striker, Luca Toni, kicked his face in a ball dispute. Toni send a SMS to Stendardo apologizing, however Stendardo didn’t accept his apologies. Lazio defender said that “ it’s not the first time Toni is violent like this, however know he broke my nose. I don’t think it’s fair to play soccer like this. I was already with the ball in front of him and he saw it."

Maicon Injured

During the UEFA Champions League semi-final between Inter de Milan and Barcelona, Inter de Milan defensive winger, Maicon chocked with Barcelona sticker, Messi and lost some teeth’s. Maicon will pass on surgery, so he can fix his teeth’s and he will be back on the time in some week.

Formula 1- Malaysia Race

After the race in Malaysia, Felipe Massa finished the race in 7th place and is now the leader of the Formula 1 2010 season with 39 points. Fernando Alonso didn’t finish the race and still has 37 points, occupying the second position. Vettel finally won the race. After racing in 1st place in the last two races, but not winning because of car problems, Vettel finally won the race. He started the race in 3rd place, but with an excellent start he quickly occupied 1st place and just conducted his car to the end of the race. Vettel won the race and experts predicts that his car is perfect and that Vettel with his RBR will finish many races in the top 3 positions. Vettel has now 37 points and is in 3rd place with the same number of points as Fernando Alonso.

Corinthians beats São Paulo!

Corinthians wins the derby against São Paulo by 4 to 3. Corinthians scored the 1st goal of the match after a fantastic play between Danilo, Ronaldo, and Elias. Elias scored after Danilo passing to Ronaldo, which passed to Elias that ran and just shoot, scoring for Corinthians. The 2nd goal of the match was scored by Danilo and it was the most beautiful goal of the match. After that Dentinho and Washington fought with each other and were expelled from the game. 5 minutes to the end of the 1st half, São Paulo scored with Jean giving new hopes to the team. In the second half, Roberto Carlos scored after Rogerio Ceni failed to get the ball. After 20 min, Corinthians Goal Keeper failed and Rodrigo Souto scored. Corinthians coach, Mano Menezes, substituted Elias and he is one of the best Corinthians players. São Paulo then tied the match with Rodrigo Souto. Ronaldo then was substituted 5 minutes to the end and Iarley entered. He created the perfect play and he has a perfect shot to the goal in the last minute of the game. The ball hit São Paulo defensive player, Alex Silva, and Corinthians won the match. This victory was perfect to Corinthians because now Corinthians still can go to the Semi-finals and also people were saying bad stuff about Corinthians, however with this victory they can't say anything bad, just good stuff. LET'S GO CORINTHIANS! LETS BE CHAMPIONS!

Formula 1- Button wins the race at Australia.

In the Australian race, the Red Bull team was dominating and both drivers from Red Bull were going to start the race in 1st and 2nd place. In the race, they were unlucky because there cars weren't good as in practice. Sebastian Vettel, who started the race in 1st had everything to win however his car had some problems and he left the race. Button won the race with his McLaren,when it started to rain and then stopped. He was the 1st one to change the wet tears for the dry tears and he won the race. In 2nd place came Kubica, Renault team, and in 3rd place came Felipe Massa with his Ferrari. Fernando Alonso finish the race in 4th place and in this race, Felipe Massa was better than Fernando Alonso. The fight between the Ferrari drivers will grow and grow. Fernando Alonso is still the leader of the Formula 1 2010 Championship with 37 points and Felipe Massa is 2nd with 33 points. Jason Button comes in 3rd place with 31 points.

American Rappers wants to buy English Teams!

The American Rapper, Jay-Z said that he was number 1 fan of Thierry Henry, a French soccer player. Thierry Henry played for Arsenal and Jay-Z started to like the team and was interested in buying a part of the team. The interest of buying Arsenal began after he watched a fantastic game 5 years ago in which Thierry Henry played very good in a match with Arsenal. Another American Rapper which wants to buy a team is Puff Daddy. Puff Daddy had an interest of buying Crystal Palace and bring back the team to the 1st division of the English Championship. He has a fortune of 360 Libras and in some weeks, he had a meeting to see what the possibilities of Buff Daddy buying Cristal Palace are. Another team Puff Daddy was looking is Portsmouth.

Fernando Alonso 1 x 0 Felipe Massa

Fernando Alonso started the Formula 1 season very well. After moving to Ferrari, a duel between Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso in regard of who would be the 1st driver of the Ferrari Team surged. Both of them are looking forward to win the Formula 1 2010 season. The week started better for Felipe Massa which classified in 2nd place for the race and Fernando Alonso in 3rd, although Fernando Alonso did an excellent race an won the Bahrein race. The 1st race showed that the Formula 1 2010 will have lots of emotion and a big competition for the championship will happen race by race.

Beckham Injured

Beckham is injured after suffering a violent tackle in the game between Milan and Chievo. David Beckham ruptured the Achilles tendon. He traveled to Finland where he will be operated. There is a small chance of David Beckham playing the World Cup, but the probability is very small. David Beckham will stay 3 to 5 months to recuperate. Good Luck Beckham!

Nigerian player faints and dies in the way to the hospital

On March 6, 2010 the sticker, Endurance Idahor, 25 years old, died during the match between Al Merreikh, his team, and Al Amal, in Omdurman, Sudan. During the 1st half of the game, at the 13 minutes of the game, Al Merreikh had a foul to take. Idahor tried to get rid of the opponent, when he fainted. He felled with his face on the ground. After a while he started to shake and quickly the judge called the doctors. The players tried to help him and when he was going to the hospital, the doctors tried to reanimate Idahor. The game was cancelled since the players were very sad.

Ronney: 2009 Best Soccer Player on England

After playing an incredible season and helping Manchester United be champions of the England Cup, Rooney was elected the 2009 best soccer player playing on England. Rooney scored many goals and was definitely the offensive man. He won the prize Nationwide Player of the Year. Rooney has been proven that he is one of the best strikers of the world. Pretty incredible right? How can Vince Carter score from an 86 foot? He did something that is very rare. Many professional basketball players have tried, but it's very difficult because of the distance. Vince Carter accomplished it and called the attention of all the other basketball players and fans. It was incredible!

Julio Cesar Suffers a car accident

The Goal Keeper from Inter de Milão suffered on Sunday a car accident around 10 p.m. (Italy time) in the streets of San Siro city. He was driving his Lamborghini, when he lost control and suffered a car accident. Julio Cesar suffered some scratches on his face and is very scared now. His wife said that his car is sold now and that it was a piece of danger. Julio Cesar is at home recovering from the accident.

One Man Show: Michel Bastos scores 3 times and leads Lyon to a victory against Sochaux. Lyon won the game by 4 x 0 and the man of the match was Michel Bastos. After losing an important game against Lyon in the middle of the week for the Champions League Competition, Real Madrid destroyed Villarreal by 6 to 2, for the Spanish Competition. Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka didn't just play soccer, they presented a show to the crowd. Kaka scored twice and Cristiano Ronaldo scored once.Both players didn't just scored, but assisted other players in the offensive resulting in the other 3 goals.

Palmeiras 2 x 0 São Paulo

During this week, Palmeiras was defeated by 4 to 1 by São Caetano and their coach, Muricy Ramalho was fired. Antônio Carlos was hired as the new coach and he lead Palmeiras to defeat their rival, São Paulo by 2 x 0. Palmeiras won the game when Xandão was expelled from the game and Palmeiras with 1 additional player, took advantage and Robert scored two goals.

Botafogo: Taça Guanabara Champions!

Botafogo team are the champions of the Taça Guanabara, a 1st division tournament between teams from Rio de Janeiro. Botafogo defeated Vasco by 2 to 0 and where the champions of the 1st round of the tournament. Will Botafogo win the 2nd round also? Let's wait and cheer to see who will be the 2nd round champions!

NFL CHAMPIONS: NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

The game ended 31 to 17 for the New Orleans against the Indianapolis Colts. Colts were the favorites to win the game, but New Orleans beat them in an beautiful and exciting game. Maning, Colts quarterback, couldn't lead Colts for the championship. New Orleans was destroyed in 2005 by the Katrina hurricane. After 5 years of the tradegy, the New Orlenans win their 1st championship. The Saints quarterback, Drew Bees, was the name of the game.

Lincoln is a good Brazilain player whow as currently palying in a team from Turkey. Lincoln will use shirt number 99 becase he already scored 99 goals in his profisional career in 428 games.

Cicinho Back to São Paulo!

One more case of a good Brazilian player coming back to Brazil to find his good sooccer again. This time Cicinho is back to São Paulo. He will play for São Paulo for te next 6 months and will be a strong re-enforcement to São Paulo. His position is left wing. Robinho came back to Brazil, to play for Santos and in his 1st game, he scores a wonderful goal against São Paulo, leading Santos to a victory agaisnt São Paulo, 2 to 1. Roberto Carlos transfer to Corinthians!

Roberto Carlos comes back to Brazil after many years in Europe and is now a Corinnthias squad player. He is now playing again with his friend Ronaldo, in which together they already won 10 competitions. Roberto Carlos has 36 years old and he will play for some years in Corinthians and after he will retire himself. Roberto Carlos is a very known Brazilian soccer player and Corinthians signed him because in 2010 Corinthians Club is celebrating 100 years of existance and want's to win the Libertadores, a competition that is very important and that they never won. Robinho Returns to Santos!

TRANSFER Completed! Robinho is now a Santos player until August 4. Robinho was playing for Manchester City, an England team, althought he wasn't playing well and wasn't having so much opportunites. Tevez, Adebayor, and Bellamy are playing well, so they are the ones who have the opportunity to play. Manchester City hired 8 security guards to stay with Robinho while he plays in Santos.Robinho started to play at Santos, a club from Brazil, so he decided to come back for a short period of time to try to find his football back and to show Dunga, Brazilian national team coach, that he deserves to go.
