Formula 1- After almost 5 years Rubens Barrichello wins the Valenica race!

Almost 5 years, Rubens raced in 81 races and he had many dificulties. On this Sunday, (Agusut 22,2009), Rubens Barrichello won the Valencia Race runing for Brawn GP. This was his tenth won race and he putted his name once again in the Formula 1 History, by making the 100th Brasilizan race win. Barrichello started the race in 3rd place, behind the two McLarens of Lewis Hamilton and Heikki Kovalainen , but with the perfect strategy on the pit stops he won the race. The segund placed stayed with Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Rikkonen in 3rd place, betting Heikki Kovalainen that stayed in fouth place.

Rubinho Barrichello dedicated his win to Felipe Massa, a Brazilian racer of Ferrari, that got injured in the last race.

Corinthians- Lucas rejects moves and Corinthians Aim for Marcelo Mattos

Corinthians board are confident that Corinthians president will be able to sign Marcelo Mattos from Panathinaikos, a cluf from Grécia. They are confident because the president is the one negociating and he, Andres Sanches is Marcelo Mattos wedding godfather and in this vacation he passed some days in Marcelo Mattos house in Greece. The player showed publicaly that he wants to return to Brasil to play for his ex-time, Corinthians, which he was champion of the Campeonato Brasileiro of 2005. Corinthians offered inicialy R$300 thousand so they can have the player for 1 year and then he would return to Greece. The Greek time wants R$800 thousand and now both times are trying to set a deal for Marcelo Mattos.

- It exist and interst in Marcelo Mattos. He want to come back to Corinthians and we want him. We are in the middle of the negociation. What is missing in the negociation is to set a deal with the club then with the player – said Mário Gobbi, Corinthians Soocer director.

Track and Field- Usain Bolt new world 200m spint racing record!

After breaking the 100 meters dash spint, Usain Bolt on August 20,2009 breaked one more world racing record! This time his new record was on the 200 meters dash spint competition. Usain Bolt, won the race making a new 200m dash spint record with a mark of 19s19 in the 2009 Track and Field competition in Berlin. The silver medal stayed with Alonso Edward with a mark of 19s81 and with the bronze medal, Wallace Spearmon with the mark of 19s85. Usain Bolt said, "Always there are limits, but I don't know mine."

Track and Field: 100m spint racing new record!

On August 16,2009. Usain Bolt, from Jamaica, once again beat the World 100m dash racing record in the Olympic Stadium of Berlin in the 2009 World Track and Field. He did 100m in 9s58, making an incredible carrer mark. Tayson Gay, from the Unidades States, got the silver medal with 9s71 and Asafa Powell, from Jamaica also, got the bronze medal with 9s84.

Corinthians Transfer News

Corinthians coach, Mano Menezes, after lossing 3 main players is waiting for some new players to arrive. Players as Andre Santos and Christian were sold to Fenerbache, a Turkey club, and Douglas was sold to Al Wasl, a UAE club. After winning the Copa the Brasil Cup and the Campeponato Brasileiro, Corinthians lost 3 main players and some other players that were important also such as Lulinha ( loaned to Estoril, after his bad performences), Otacilio Neto( loaned to Barrueri ), Wellington Saci (loaned to Atletico-MG), Beto Acosta (loaned to Nautico) and Fabinho (sold to Cruzeiro). After all this loses, Corinthians signed Balbuena (Libertad), Edu (Valencia), Moradei and Bill (Bragantino), and Paulo André (Le Mans). Rumors says that Corinthians may still sign Riquelme (Boca Juniors), Silyinho( no club), Lima (Betis), Matias de Frederico( Huracan), and Lucas (Liverpool). Corinthians president, Andres Sanches, is in Europe seeking for some new players. Corithians pretends to win Copa Libertadores next year, the year of their 100th anniversary.
